Description
- E-Bikers, Bike packers, Backcountry tourers, Clydesdales, Off-road Tandem lunatics, here is your hub
- After seeing the massive strains placed upon hubs by the huge, sustained torque generated by E-MTB’s DT Swiss took their benchmark 240s hub back to the drawing board and reworked it from the ground up for ultimate toughness
- The result is the most durable, reliable hub on the market with only a minor weight penalty over our standard 240s
- The hub shell and axle has been reinforced and have been proven to demonstrate over twice the fatigue life by DT’s in-house torture lab
- 24-tooth steel ratchets offer an optimum balance between engagement, reliability and sheer strength, making them 25% stronger than our already legendarily reliable freehub system
- CNC’d steel freehub bodies for ultimate reliability under high-torque
- Oversized custom bearings, and improved contact-free double flange sealing
- Even with all these changes the Hybrids are still 240’s at heart so they can be easily serviced just like any other DT hub
