XM 1030 is one of the latest version of Mavic’s “XM” rims, and as such is the most advanced evolution. Offering both lightweight and a wider 30mm profile, this welded rim features ISM 4D technology (Inter Spoke Milling), which strategically removes material from the rim where it’s not needed but keeps it around the spokes, where tension is applied. This technology makes the rim lighter, for faster accelerations, without compromising durability.

**Maxtal aluminium alloy**

Light and strong and exclusive to Mavic. This specific aluminium alloy offers a higher strength to weight ratio than conventional 6106 alloy

**ISM 4D light rim**

Inter Spoke Milling 4 Dimensions. An exclusive Mavic patented concept, reducing weight and inertia without compromising durability. Faster acceleration, better handling and more resistance. The perfect mix to make the most of any ride.

**SUP welding**

Strong and smoother. After bending the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish
